By accessing or using Canvas Builder ("the Service"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Canvas Builder ("we", "us", operated by SemiColonWeb).
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in the EU) to use Canvas Builder.
Canvas Builder is an HTML layout generator that produces production-ready web layouts based on the Canvas HTML template system (v7.3.1 by SemiColonWeb/Envato). The Service allows users to:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
You must create an account to use Canvas Builder. You may register with an email and password or via Google OAuth. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it current.

You may only maintain one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits or any other restriction is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

Verified Canvas template buyers on ThemeForest receive 10 free bonus credits upon Envato account verification. Each Envato account can only claim once.
Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. If your account is deleted or terminated for violations, unused credits are forfeited.
Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased, except in the following cases:
Chargebacks without first contacting us may result in account suspension.
All prices are listed in USD. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable in your jurisdiction.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable credits, the HTML layouts generated by Canvas Builder in response to your prompts are owned by you. You may use, modify, and deploy them for any lawful commercial or personal purpose.
Generated layouts are unique to your session but are not guaranteed to be globally unique — other users may generate visually similar layouts from similar prompts.
With a valid Canvas Template licence (see Section 8), you may:

Canvas Builder does not guarantee that any generated layout is unique. Multiple users may receive similar outputs from similar prompts. You should not rely on generated layouts as proof of original creative authorship.

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit. By submitting prompts, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store them to deliver the Service. We do not use your prompts to train AI models or share them with third parties.
Canvas Builder may only be used for lawful purposes. You agree to use the Service in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and in a manner that does not:

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Canvas Builder generates HTML layouts built on the Canvas HTML Template by SemiColonWeb, available on ThemeForest. Generated layouts reference Canvas's CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and icon libraries.
To deploy a generated layout on a live website, you must hold a valid Canvas Template licence. Canvas Builder does not grant, include, or substitute for the Canvas Template licence. You are solely responsible for obtaining the appropriate licence for your use:

If you have already purchased the Canvas Template on ThemeForest, your existing licence covers use of generated layouts within the scope of that licence. Verified Canvas buyers receive 10 free bonus credits upon Envato account verification — this is a courtesy benefit and does not modify the scope of your Canvas licence.
Generating and previewing layouts within Canvas Builder, or using generated layouts locally for development and testing purposes, does not require a Canvas Template licence. The licence requirement applies when a generated layout is deployed to a publicly accessible production website.
Canvas Builder is an independent product operated by SemiColonWeb. While we are the authors of the Canvas Template, Canvas Builder and the Canvas Template are separate products with separate licences. Purchasing credits on Canvas Builder does not grant you a Canvas Template licence, and vice versa.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all generated layouts before deploying them in production.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CANVAS BUILDER AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Canvas Builder in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canvas Builder and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
You may terminate your account at any time by going to Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and all data (including generation history) will be erased within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:
We may also terminate or suspend accounts with 30 days' notice for business reasons (e.g., discontinuing the Service). In such cases, we will refund unused credits pro-rata.
Upon termination: your right to access the Service ceases; unused credits are forfeited (unless terminated by us for business reasons); and Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at [email protected].
If we cannot resolve the dispute within 60 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Notwithstanding this, either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
Changes take effect 14 days after notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must delete your account before the effective date.
