Contact forms & submissions

4 min read

Contact forms on your published site just work. Every submission is emailed to you and saved to a built-in inbox, with spam filtering and an optional auto-reply. There is no third-party form service to sign up for and nothing to paste into your pages.

How it works

  1. 1
    Ask for a form
Say something like “add a contact form with name, email, and message.” The AI builds it into your site.
  2. 2
    Publish your site
Once the site is live, the form is wired up automatically. No setup, no keys, no code.
  3. 3
    Someone submits
You get an email straight away, and the submission is saved to your inbox in the dashboard.
  4. 4
    Reply
Hit reply on the email to answer the visitor directly, or manage everything from the Form inbox.

Your form inbox

Open a project and go to the Forms tab to see every submission, mark spam, and reply. Because everything is stored, you never lose a message, even if an email happens to bounce.

Spam protection

  • Hidden honeypot: bots that fill in an invisible field are rejected silently.
  • Content checks: messages that look like spam are set aside, never emailed.
  • Rate limiting: a single visitor cannot flood your inbox.

Optional auto-reply

Turn on an auto-reply to instantly confirm receipt to whoever submitted the form. Each auto-reply counts as one submission against your monthly limit. Notifications and auto-replies are sent from Canvas Builder on your behalf.

Monthly limits

  • Free: 100 submissions per month.
  • Starter: 500 submissions per month.
  • Pro: 1,000 submissions per month.
  • Studio: unlimited submissions.
Nothing is ever lost
Submissions are always saved to your inbox. If you reach a plan’s monthly email limit, new submissions are still stored, but notification emails pause until the next month or an upgrade.
